a non-alcoholic wife defends alcoholic women

IN the December issue of The A. A. Grapevine, Mrs. C. T. of Greenwich, Conn., aired her views concerning the attitude of women AAs toward the wives of AA members. She sounded like a very pleasant, friendly person and her complaint was no doubt justified. However, beneath every human emotion and action lies a reason, sometimes apparent, but most always hidden. Thus, there is a very definite reason for the lady AAers to be on the defensive in the presence of non-alcoholic women.
