Drunkenness for an alcoholic is a man without his creator, left to himself as his only God. Drunkenness for the alcoholic means a man alone in an unspeakable lonesomeness. To make matters worse he had the ill-will of relatives, loves, friends. . .with no hopes, no ambitions.
