There Is More to It Than Sobriety

AT one of my early meetings an old-timer said, "If sobriety was all that the philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous could give me, then I wouldn't be here tonight." That statement had little or no significance for me then, but in the light of my own experience and development, it has now become quite clear what the speaker had in mind.
