Is It Wrong to Feel Proud?

A Young Man Raises A Point. . . . .

A YOUNG man raised an interesting point at a meeting the other night. "I try not to," he explained, "but I find myself thinking that I am a better man than I was when drinking. I feel a sense of goodness about it all that I frankly like. I respect myself, and think that I am doing well. I can't seem to help but feel proud about it, and I am worried about whether that is bad thinking."
