Tradition Week

Meeting Suggestions from some who observed Tradition Week last year

This is the way we observed Tradition Week last year. Upon receipt of the announcement from General Service Headquarters, we appointed a chairman, one of our older members, and he assigned each of the Traditions to one of the members present. These members were instructed to study the assigned Tradition. By arranging for the meeting early, it gave each assigned member about two weeks study. On Tradition Meeting night presentation was limited to three minutes, after which general discussion followed. During the presentation and discussion the secretary held the long form Traditions pamphlet, thus enabling him to clarify for the members some of the shortened Traditions. A general mutual understanding was brought about and we, as a group, feel that much good was accomplished.
