In my opinion the useful activities of the non-alcoholics should receive encouragement and credit, not be discouraged and criticized. In spite of our allergy and obsession, we arrested alcoholics ought to remember that we are like others in at least one respect. It took all unfeathered bipeds. . .human beings. . .at least two years to learn to talk.
