Being an alcoholic, I had been on the AA Program for a little over a year. Then I had a terrific slip. The hangover had passed the stage where liquor was even a temporary help, so I shouted for the doctor for a hypo. As he poised the needle for the thrust into my arm, I said, "You know, Doc, I'm an AA."
