No Drinks for Life? Perish the Thought!

I FIRST came in contact with AA a little over three years ago when a member of my family joined. To my mind that was a very good thing for him, but not for me, so I continued merrily on my way. After being in a couple of months he finally persuaded me to attend. I demurred at first, the biggest reason being, someone might think me an alcoholic. But at last I went and continued attending meetings with him but never seeming to feel that I should be one of them.
