Your Slip's Showing

LET'S talk a while about this matter of slippers. It's one that seems to be always causing concern in AA--and yet there's no reason, really, for all the tragedy. Oh I know it's disappointing to see a fellow or a girl you've come to know, and like, suddenly going off the deep end. Maybe you've been meeting him at meetings--looking forward to seeing him there--talking to him--growing to understand him. And then--all of a sudden--you miss him. He doesn't come to the meetings any more. He's been drinking again, you hear. He's had a slip.
