Our Own Opinions

GOD, as I understand him, is not my master. He is my confidante and constant companion. True, He possesses divine attributes which are far beyond my poor power to comprehend, yet He walks beside me in my daily pursuits, guiding me with the necessary strength to meet the problems of the day and giving me the courage to accept my lot no matter how or where the chips may fall. If I meet with adversity, it is because, in His infinite wisdom, He so willed it, and it is not for me to question. If, at the end of the day, I find He has granted me sobriety, what greater gift could He have bestowed upon me?
