Case History

A YEAR ago this June, my son came home from College and joined the Army. When he told me what he had done, I blew my top. His enlistment at that time was not in accordance with my plan for him. I began to figure how I could undo the thing that he had done. I used up my whole bag of tricks--he should have consulted me before enlisting--the government, itself, wished him to finish his formal education first--he was to be an officer, and not a foot-soldier.
