Happiness:

I HAVE been sober and active on the Alcoholics Anonymous Program for several years. A year ago--on July 14, 1950--I came down with infantile paralysis; every part of my body--with the exception of my neck and left arm--was involved: I spent three months in an Iron Lung, and have been in hospitals ever since. So far, I have recovered the use of my lungs and right arm, and am fighting for the rest--;with my leg braces on, I am allowed to stand each day--trying to regain my balance. I know I shall walk again.
