From the Grass Roots

BEFORE I got into AA I was in a stage of alcoholism not too well covered in the Big Book; but I was most definitely an alcoholic. I have never had DTs, nor been hospitalized, nor lost a wife, a job nor many of the terrible things that would have happened had I continued; but I knew something was wrong and decided to join AA to see what it was all about.
