An Address Bringing Hope and Help To AA Families

THE growing interest in the Al-Anon Family Groups has been most encouraging. We are glad to report that where the Family Groups are well established they are in high favor among AA members. One of the main purposes of these Family Groups is to help the AA by trying to give him or her a stable, peaceful home life. The Family Groups realize that they can best do this if their society and name be separate from but allied to AA. That is why the name "Al-Anon" has been substituted pretty generally over the country for AA Family Group, AA Auxiliary or Associates, or Non-AAs.
