The Stranger

IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT HOME IS WHERE YOU SEE IT!

I NOTICED him the first time he walked into a meeting. It was a Friday night closed gathering of the Cape Town fellowship and the presiding chairman had just started, when the door of the room opened jerkily and there he stood strained and bewildered, as if wondering if he had done the right thing. Before he could change his mind, one of the fellows, sensing his awkwardness, jumped up from his chair, and swiftly had the stranger seated.
