From the Grass Roots

ONE night recently, I dropped in at an AA meeting, in a different section of my city. I was glad I did. The speaker that night was exceptionally good. He was a cultured, educated man, a businessman and, of course, an alcoholic. His flow of English, impeccable delivery and quotations left a deep impression on his listening audience. It was apparent that he had made a thorough study of AA. . .its principles and traditions. When he finished, I felt I had learned a great deal.
