First Regional Conference of AA Prison Groups - A Grapevine Milestone Report

AA can be greatest weapon ever known to keep alcoholics from returning to prison

BEHIND the towering walls of Indiana State Prison, another new and unique chapter of AA history has been written by 617 friends of AA from "outside" and 196 members of AA from "inside." Wardens, penologists and penal sociologists from seven institutions of five states; AAs from many cities; and the "at home" members of the inmate group participated in the First Regional Conference of AA Prison Groups at Michigan City, Indiana.
