From the Grass Roots

LOSS OR GAIN

PERFECTION is an ideal to be striven for but seldom attained. We, each in pursuit of our goal of contented sobriety, are reaching out for this pinnacle of perfection. The road we have to travel is the philosophy of AA. Our efforts may be likened to climbing a long hill with a slope lessening towards the top to a level plain. Climbing the bottom slope is tough and some must be assisted by those blessed with more strength and experience in climbing. Only by working together and sharing our strength and experience will all be enabled to reach the top and stay there.
