Obedience

A word I hated becomes my friend in need. . .

I LIKE the word "obedience." I'll admit I didn't used to. But then I didn't like a lot of things. When I think back on those days and of the supreme confidence I had in my own judgment, I get a faraway look in my eye. And then I remember the headaches, the boners, the hangovers, the remorse, brawls, hate, words. Of course I know now that my judgment was very poor and that my confidence was merely ego or pride run riot.
