I FELT REAL MEANING

I have just spent the most enjoyable vacation in my entire life, the first two weeks having been spent at the eighth annual Southeastern Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous. Here, I felt the real meaning of a remark I have cherished since the day I first contacted AA. . .when Jack M. of Memphis, Tenn. said to me, "When you came through that door you made 100,000 friends that will do anything to help you so long as you are trying to help yourself."
