As the wife of an alcoholic, I disagree with the members who make remarks from the platform such as "we unfortunates who can not drink socially." Personally, I am glad that I have a reason not to drink socially or otherwise. Several of my women friends do not like to drink and would prefer not to, but for one reason or another think they must take a drink if offered one.
