Case History

I AM one of the few who think they were born an alcoholic. I can remember when I was a little girl faking toothaches so my Grandmother would fix me a hot toddy, and later, when I was allowed to stay up for parties, being very helpful in carrying out the empty glasses so as to finish up the last few drops left. . .Even then I was a lone and "on the sly" drinker.
