HOW many times while driving down the road do you check your instrument panel for charge rate, oil pressure, water temperature and speed? You depend on these to indicate a trouble-free journey or to warn you of mechanical danger. By the same token, I use the same continuous inventory through a sharpened conscience to warn me that some thought, word or deed is out of line. It is then up to me to correct it immediately.
