Kid Stuff

THINGS we want to refer to in a tone of slight derision we usually label small fry, kid stuff. Kids are people who engage all inanimate objects in conversation to the amusement of us adults. They talk with trees, fire plugs and probably typewriters. And by the way, I just bought a nice new typewriter, all the latest shifts and gadgets and remembering that an earlier issue of the Grapevine requested new material I had a sudden inspiration. . . I have a machine. . . I am a writer.
