From the Grass Roots

Some time after coming into AA I realized that there was a need of me in this movement of ours. I was astounded. Never before had I felt that I was good for anything. It all came about when a very meek fellow came to me after a closed meeting and thanked me for something I had said in the course of the conversation. It had never dawned on me that I was a privileged person along with every other member of AA.
