Some Sins of Omission

MANY of us in AA, including myself, are content with our own sobriety, which we take more or less for granted. Having in the beginning worked fairly hard to achieve happy sobriety, we are now after years of membership in AA sitting back and doing the minimum to ensure its continuance:--viz. only attending meetings and just waiting for some other unfortunate drunk to come to us for help.
