If He Should Come Again

I AM sitting here in the boiler room of a small mill on Christmas Eve, alone. I am meditating and thinking of the One whose birthday we will celebrate tomorrow. When He walked in the world, almost" 2000 years ago, he was not a king but a carpenter. Born an outcast, cradled in deepest poverty, He went about his lather's business, dressed in poor garments, his hands calloused from labor, and he associated with the diseased, the dispossessed, and the down-and-out.
