A MAN who lived on the sixth floor of a building rushed out one evening, yanked open the elevator door and jumped in. As the elevator was at the seventh floor, he soon found himself at the bottom of the shaft, wrapped around the motor and several large sharp gears. He lay there a while, feeling like a dish of cherry jello stuck full of darning needles, and a dozen people came running to try to help. Four of them started by asking "Are you hurt?", six asked "What happened?", the eleventh asked "Just what do you think you're doing down there?"
