We Found We Could Decide!

RIGHT from the beginning of our association with AA, we begin to make decisions. When we first approach AA we are given the choice of trying what AA has to offer or continuing drinking, with the possibility of an early death or insanity. So we decide to try AA. We have made our first decision. Whether it was easy or not doesn't make much difference. The main thing is that we decided for ourselves. For a good many of us, it was our first real decision in years.
