High and Mighty Me

A NEW MEMBER DECIDES THAT "LIVE AND LET LIVE" CAN MEAN TOLERANCE FOR NON-ALCOHOLICS. . .

FOR four months now I have been a member of AA and for that period I have been dry (except for one slip which turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me--but that is another story). During the past two months I have been having what a certain witty AA calls a "honeymoon with AA." I believe I can honestly say that the program as a whole has been revealed to me, and my new way of life has brought me such personal happiness that it is a little difficult for me to even remember myself as I was a year ago--or six months ago. That is probably the principal reason for my stubbing my toe over a problem that emerged from my new-found happiness.
