Several weeks ago I heard a speaker at one of our meetings ask the question: can our intelligence kill us? He went on to say that one of the leading universities had made a survey covering leading civic clubs and other groups, etc. and the result was that the members in Alcoholics Anonymous had a higher I. Q., and were larger money-makers than members in all of the other clubs surveyed.
