A Joyous Privilege

<emphasis type="italic">Bow, stubborn knees</emphasis>. . . Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 3

FOR me, prayer is essential at the beginning and end of a sober, happy day in AA. For me, it is also a part of each hour of most days. It has become not only a necessary part of my daily program but a joyous privilege, as well. This is not a prescription for others. Simply a conclusion based on my own experience in AA. And, I'm not talking about any particular method of praying but just about a willingness to talk things over with God, as I understand Him.
