Danger--Personalities at Work

One dangerous bypath back to the squirrel-cage type of thinking is in letting personalities run rampant in AA meetings and matters. . .either projection of your own or allowing "show-hogging" by someone else to bother you. We know of persons who have been, or are, staying away from meetings because (1) they don't like "most of the speakers" coming to our group--"heard it all before"; (2) they are displeased by certain blocks of friends getting together; (3) they were "slighted" on some occasion that to most, and certainly to newcomers, would appear as strictly a personal social matter, up to the individual and not the group.
