SCHOOL FOR LIFE

Early in my drinking days I was what most people call a "boomer." never holding any one position for any great length of time. I would often go on a drunk that would result in my being fired, or I would quit under the same conditions and move on to another locality. I have gained most of the knowledge of my trade by actual experience, my schooling terminating in the seventh grade, but on many occasions I have worked under identical conditions along with men who held degrees from universities and colleges. In some cases these men were unable to obtain employment under better conditions, but some were gaining the practical knowledge to use in connection with their "book learning."
