At sick call one morning the somewhat backward soldier happened to encounter the psychiatrist. After listening to his story, the doctor decided to ask him a few questions. "What would happen if I cut one of your cars off?" The boy thought and replied, "I guess I would only hear half as well." The doctor went on. "And if I cut off your other ear, what then?" The boy paused and said, "I wouldn't be able to see." The psychiatrist asked him how he arrived at that answer. "Well," replied our country boy, "my hat would fall over my eyes."
