In Chatsworth, Queensland, Australia, an inspector visited the bank--found it open, but deserted. Looking out the back window, he spotted the manager, teller, accountant and ledger-keeper playing poker (with their own money) on the landing. Hoping to scare the erring quartet, he rang the burglar alarm. At this signal the bartender from a nearby pub rushed across the street, toting four beers.
