The AA Caravan

ONE of the pleasures of life to which I returned after becoming sober in AA was that of reading. Prior to the time I became an alcoholic it had been one of my great enjoyments. When I drank I still read but in the morning I couldn't remember what I had read the night before. It is a distinct pleasure now to read and to understand and to remember what I do read.
