To Carry the Message . . . . . . Not the Alcoholic
IN discussing a problem with another member of AA, I asked him why it was that so many people I had tried to help had failed? I had seen them go right back where they started from; the pain and frustration I had felt was unbearable. Where had I failed? What was wrong with me? Why did these things happen? Why didn't they get the program?
