Like a Cat On a Bag. . .

WHEN I came into AA I, like many, many others, did not want to give up my drinking, just to control it. I simply could not imagine a life without drink. And this in spite of my no longer getting any pleasure or lift from alcohol--only a temporary escape from my miseries.
