Each lost round caused his conviction to grow that the mundane community, the successful sector at least, was right and that the Lord and His purpose were outmoded. He knew that the "mundanes" were wrong. Nevertheless how was he to be demonstrative about how he felt and at the same time succeed among those worldly characters?
