Anonymity Is Vital

Two important events lie ahead for Fort Worth Group No. One--the opening of the new clubhouse on West Fifth St. and the 1954 State AA Convention. Doubtless, AA will be much in the public eye of Fort Worth during the twelve-month period that lies ahead. Such being the case, we felt it well to touch upon a subject that perhaps is greatly neglected in AA meetings and coffee table discussions, the subject being none other than anonymity. One of our founders, Bill W., set down in writing some important thinking on this subject back in 1947 when the first booklet was published on AA traditions. Many new members will possibly be attracted to our fellowship because of publicity connected with the two events we have cited above. Let us, therefore, each take another look at what Bill had to say of this important AA tradition:
