We Divide. . .To Multiply

WHEN members complain about the failure of their group to grow they should realize that the growth of the group is like the amoeba: it divides to multiply. There are approximately 120,000 members in 5,000 groups or an average of twenty-four, and when the group gets to over thirty there is only a chance for one chairman per month, or at most fifty weekly chairmen, and the old members and some new members, not having active duty, fail to continue their interest; whereas, if a new group is formed these people can keep active.
