From the Grass Roots

For twenty-five years I stayed saturated with alcohol. My life was filled with resentments and all of its relatives. They dominated my personality. My activities all revolved in the orbit of alcohol. There was no room for anything good in me. My thinking was continuously stinking. That was my life before AA. AA has taught me what was wrong and what I could do about it. I do not want any more of that kind of life. I sincerely believe that alcohol has been replaced by AA.
