PRISON GROUP GIVES THANKS

WE of the Helping Hand Group of Alcoholics Anonymous, London Prison Farm, London, Ohio would like to take this opportunity to thank the various members who have so consistently devoted much of their time to assist this group through leads and individual attention since this group was organized; the many, many penal groups that have written to us and contributed many articles and suggestions; the Central Group in Columbus, Ohio for the wonderful assistance they have repeatedly rendered when we really needed a helping hand; for the complete cooperation that the General Service Headquarters in New York has given to our little group, also, the personal attention that Eve L. has contributed through her correspondence, and last, but not least, the Editorial Staff of the Grapevine for the help that we have received through the fine articles printed in the Grapevine. Each and every one has been an inspiration to this group and we humbly thank you for helping the incarcerated man to learn a new way of life wherein he might once again become a respected citizen in a good community and live the AA way of life. We, in turn, hope to carry the message to our fellow alcoholic and help him, as you have us.
