Some speakers at group meetings, in their desire to be regarded as regular guys with a message to newly arrived members, frequently resort to the sort of language which earned for English soldiers in France who fought Joan of Arc's troops the sobriquet "goddams." True, a group meeting is not a Sunday school, but many are held in church basements, and are attended by some church people. So why do it?
