From the Grass Roots

I wish I were able to put into words what I think of the job that is being done on our Grapevine. But if I could do that I would need about ten years more schooling so I'll just say from cover to cover it's the "pause that refreshes," and I feel that Rev. W. J. Smith, S. J. (February 1954 Grapevine) has a lot on the ball. I look forward to every copy. I tell the boys and gals around here that when the group meeting gets on their nerves just sit down with The Grapevine and take a trip around the world. Meet a lot of sober drunks. They'll help you and if you read it in earnest you will help them by just being a better member of AA.
