From the Groupvine

WHEREVER two or more alcoholics gather to meet their common need for sobriety, there we have an AA meeting. Getting into the habit of working together for the sole purpose of maintaining sobriety, we form an AA group. Then, as each group discovers its common interest with other groups, there grows up a practice of cooperation: an AA service.
