Doing the AA Side-step

TOO many of us skip casually through the Twelve Steps, especially the Twelfth, which obligates us to carry the message to other alcoholics. But there is still another step for some of us. . . The Side Step. We side-step the obligation when it seems too much trouble to exercise it. We forget that if someone else had not taken the Twelfth Step to reach us, we would not be in AA.
