From the Grass Roots

WE LIKE IT, TOO

That Serenity Prayer on the March issue must have been inspired, or else God decided to grant a wish to some minor mortal people. We (my wife and I) and some other AAs have talked about just this sort of thing and have been looking for something suitable for framing. The story goes like this: I came home from work, the copy of Grapevine was on my dresser with the cover (front) very neatly cut off about 1/4 inch from the staples. My first reaction was: "somebody goofed"--then I walked into the front room and there it was, on the wall over the TV where the TV light could shine on it, and all very nicely framed in a small old frame. It was a little like seeing the light again that I saw when I came into AA.
