How A.A.'S World Service Grew

Part I

SOMEDAY the history of Alcoholics Anonymous will be written. Only then will most of us finally understand what over-all national and international services have meant to our Society, how difficult they were to create, and how vital it is to maintain them over future years. For the purpose of this Manual, [1] we can only supply a brief historical run-down, a simple timetable of the events that have brought our world services and AA Traditions into being, plus a condensed report of the total accomplishment.
